He is responsible for determining the company's strategies for business development, people development and recruitment, the process methodology for project management, and planning for technology development. Under his leadership, the Linea Networks team developed BasketballMarket – the world’s leading basketball marketplace. Mr. Smailbegovic is known for his energy and his passion for what technology can do for customers.
Prior to founding Linea Networks, Mr. Smailbegovic worked at Microsoft, Olivetti and Hewlett-Packard as Pre-Sale Engineer, Service Account Manager and Business Development Manager.
Mr. Smailbegovic holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ and an Engineering degree from École Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées (EPITA), Paris, France.
